Rep member, Hon Lawal Idris

A Federal Lawmaker, Hon Lawal Idris, has congratulated the Igbo community in Ganaja, Ajaokuta Federal Constituency and the entire Kogi State on the celebration of this year's New Yam festival in the state held on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
In a media statement, Idris commended the spirit of struggle, honesty on the part of Igbos in Ganaja, Kogi state and by extension, the entire country.
He saluted the courage of Igbo community for sustaining the age-long tradition tied to the survival of their culture and tradition.
Idris said the significance of adhering to culture and tradition has alot of multiplier effects to the survival of all races.
He prayed that the Almighty God will use the celebration to open more opportunities to Igbos who are predominantly businessmen and women in the area.
He prayed for many more years of such occasions in good health and continuous celebrations.
