President Buhari
The Biafra Nations League (BNL) has rubbished President Muhammadu Buhari’s Deep Blue Sea project launched in Lagos. Buhari had in his Independence Day speech revealed that the project is to protect Nigeria waterways up to the Gulf of Guinea. But the Deputy Leader of BNL and Head of Operations BBS Media, Ebuta Akor Takon, described the project as another form of blockade of the Eastern region.
Takon disclosed that BNL has since briefed its militias in Bakassi Peninsula the purpose of the project, urging them to monitor and intercept any vessel coming towards that axis.
According to BNL, they have adopted the guerrilla tactics to monitor and sabotage maritime activities of both Nigeria and Cameroon in the Gulf of Guinea.
They disclosed plans to retake former Nigerian military barracks known as Isaac Boro in Bakassi Peninsula since the place has been abandoned for years by the Cameroon military. According to BNL, snakes invaded the barracks on a daily basis until Cameroon Military fled and eventually set up a new barracks elsewhere.
