Senate President Ahmad Lawan

The Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission NASC, Mr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi, has sent a message of congratulations to Nigeria’s Senate President, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, on his conferment of a chieftaincy title by the paramount ruler of Iyin Ekiti in Ekiti State, Oluyin of Iyin, Oba Adeola Adeniyi Ajakaiye.
Amshi, in a statement released over the weekend said that the new title “will spur the National Assembly leadership under Senator Lawan to do more for a united Nigeria through a robust law that will ensure progress and development of the country.”
He said the chieftaincy title will also advance unity among Nigerians irrespective of creed, religion and sectional differences.
Amshi urged people saddled with leadership position to do more through commitment to duty and progress of Nigeria.
The NASC Chairman commended the royal father for the singular honor done to the Nigeria Senate President, saying that there will always be a reward for hardworking public officer in all ramifications.
