Versatile singer Harrysong
After 14 days quarantine in Turkey, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, arrivedMalta on Thursday, hoping to link Paris for his show on Sunday tagged “Harrysong live in Paris”.
But Malta government has insisted that Mr. Songz, as he is fondly called by colleagues and friends, undergoes another 14 days quarantine before he can take off to Paris.
The versatile singer who got married to Alexer Perez Gopa, the mother of his twins in March this year, is now stranded in Malta and bitter that he has to go through this even after he obtained a negative PCR test result and vaccination certificate before take-off from Nigeria.
The Warri boy is also not happy that European countries have refused to honour the clearance certificate issued by his home country Nigeria, which has caused him to be stranded in foreign land.
He has thus cancelled his Sunday show and has appealed to his fans in France for understanding.
“I’m sorry guys, this hurts, I know. But with love, let’s see what November/December holds,” he pleaded.
