BNL Deputy National Leader Ebuta Takon
Biafra Nations League (BNL) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to save himself from embarrassment by cancelling his visit to Imo State scheduled for today, Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Deputy National Leader of BNL and Head of Operations BBs Media, Ebuta Takon, said Wednesday in a statement to newsmen in Ikom, Cross River State, that Buhari would be embarrassing himself if he visits the state.
Takon said that his visit would be an insult to the people of Imo State and entire Eastern states.
The BNL second man asked the people of the state not to come out to receive the President “in line with the sit-at-home order declared by the indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB.”
Meanwhile, BNL has announced the change of its Head of Operations, Henry Edet. According to Takon, a new Head of Operations will be installed by Friday. “The development followed failure of its Paramilitary wing to hoist the Biafran flag in Cameroon’s controlled area of the Bakassi Peninsula weeks ago after Cameroonian military opened fire on the separatists in Abana, the former headquarters,” he said.
