Sultan Saad Abubakar III

Former Kogi State Governor and Jakadan Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, has sent a message of congratulations to the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
The Jakadan Sokoto described Sultan Abubakar III as a father to all, irrespective of religion, tribe and cultural inclination.
He commended the spiritual leader for not only preaching religious tolerance in Islamic religion alone, but also in Christianity, saying that he remains a rallying point towards religious stability in Nigeria.
Ex-Governor Idris noted that Sulta Abubakar III “has stabilised both religious and serious national discourse, towards realising lasting peace, progress and development in Nigeria.”
He used the opportunity to celebrate with the sultanate and also extend his appreciation on his recent installation as Jakadan Sokoto by the Sultan.
The former Kogi Governor prayed for more years to the Sultan of Sokoto in his quest to continue to serve humanity and the society,
