Governor Obiano

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, on Wednesday morning landed in a private jet at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport after weeks of vacation in the USA.
Speaking on arrival at the airport, the governor said he decided to fly from Lagos straight to Anambra so as to test his own work.
The airport built on a Build, Operate, Recover (BOR) terms with a foreign firm was constructed within 15 months.
According to Obiano, he flew from Lagos to Anambra within 45 minutes, adding that landing on the tarmac was very comfortable.
He told journalists that with his return, the error committed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which saw the commission listing Hon Chuma Umeoji instead of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as candidate of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the November 6 governorship election in the state would be sorted out.
The Governor, who has been away for about two weeks, was received at the airport by Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and his running mate, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezi, Anambra State Executive Council members, House of Assembly members led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Victor Okafor, traditional rulers and many APGA faithful.
