Anambra Police Commissioner Monday Bala Kuryas

The Anambra Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with cultism and shooting incident at Okpuno, Awka South Local Government of the state.
The suspects are Victor Ikechukwu, aged 30 years, and 35-year-old Ifeanyi Uyanne.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, who confirmed the arrest, said that two unidentified men that sustained gunshot wounds were found at the scene of the incident.
According to him, they were rushed to a nearby hospital but were confirmed dead by a doctor on arrival.
He added: “To this end, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, calls on parents/guardians to watch over their children and wards and prevent them from engaging in cultism and associated vices.
“The Police also recovered one tinted Toyota Corolla Vehicle and one suspected military Cap uniform.”
