Victor Osimhen opened scores for the Eagles in the first half while Oghenekaro Etebo made it two shortly on the restart.

Substitute Paul Onuachu, who over the weekend scored the all-important goal against hosts Squirrels of Benin in Porto Novo, put the match beyond Lesotho, the whipping boys of the group, with a rocket of a shot in the closing stages of the encounter.
