Force Public Relations Officer, CP Emmanuel C. S. Ojukwu, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja.
Ojukwu said that the donation was made by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, Mrs. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, when she visited the Inspector General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase, at Force Headquarters, Abuja.
“A highly elated IGP Solomon Arase, maintained that the donation of the machine will strengthen the Interpol Wing of the Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) in capturing the data of Nigerians in Diaspora, to ensure that criminally minded Nigerians, smearing the country’s image are dealt with in accordance with the law,” Ojukwu said.
