Pop star Davido graduates with second class degree

BET award winning musician, David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido was one of the young graduates produced by Babcock University, Ilisan Remo, Ogun State yesterday.

At the institution’s 13th convocation ceremony, Davido was a cynosure of all eyes as he was given a standing ovation from fellow students and guests in attendance while receiving his certificate in presence of his father, Deji Adeleke, among other important dignitaries.

He graduated with a Second Class degree from the Department of Music of the university, and was its pioneering student.

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor J. A. Makinde, while presenting Davido’s certificate, commended his father, Deji Adeleke, for supporting the institution financially over time via donations, while encouraging others to also support the institution.

Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, was also present at the ceremony.
