The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha on Monday night, dissolved his state expanded executive members and appointed new Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary to the Imo State Government.

In a statement by the governor read on the State Broadcasting Corporation, he announced the appointment of Sir Jude Ejiogu, who was his immediate past Chief of Staff, as the new Secretary to the Imo State Government (SSG).

Governor Okorocha also appointed Mr Uche Nwosu, the former Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning, as the Chief of Staff and former Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Sam Onwuemeodo, got the position of the Chief Press Secretary.

Meanwhile, the governor has suspended the Vice Chancellor of the Imo State University (IMSU), Professor Ukachukwu Awuzie, and directed the former Commissioner of Education in the state, Professor Adaobi Obasi, to take the seat in acting capacity.
