Two passengers of a popular elite passenger bus line have been confirmed dead on the Shagamu-Benin Expressway Sunday morning.
A fuel-laden tanker was said to have crammed into the bus causing an instant explosion which resulted in the inferno that roasted the two passengers whose identities could not be ascertained as of the time of filing his story.
However, eywitnesses and men of the Federal Road Safety Corps said some other people escaped with injuries.
It is noteworthy that the passenger and cargo haulage line has enjoyed a high reputation for safety in its operations. (Sunday Independent)
