The immediate past Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu is set for a mega book launch come Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 12pm (GMT + 1) via zoom

According to a statement from Dr. Kachikwu who is also former president of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as well asthe African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), made available toNews Express, the event will feature four books in his stable lined up for public presentation and launch.

The four books are:

Nigerian Petroleum Industry: 2015 to the future; Nigerian Law of Contract: Study Companion; Gas Development in Nigeria: Legal and Policy Framework; and Nigerian Foreign Investment Law and Policy.

President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, will grace the occasion as Special Guest of Honour while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN GCFR, will be Guest of Honour.

Other personalities for the event are, former Minister of Defence Gen. T. Y. Danjuma, Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, Secretary General, Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Secretary General, African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and Pastor Tunde Bakare, among others.

Citation of the author will be done by Richmond Osuji who will be the anchor person of the event.
