Scene of an accident involving Peace Mass Transit

An auto crash along Abomege in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has claimed the lives of three persons while four others were critically injured,
An eyewitness said the bus belonging to Peace Mass Transit was coming from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, when the tragedy occurred.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the State, DSP Loveth Oda, who confirmed the accident, explained that the bus skidded off the highway and plunged into a tree.
She noted that preliminary investigations indicated that the tyre of the bus burst before the accident occurred.
DSP Oda disclosed that the deceased had been deposited in a mortuary while the injured were receiving treatment at the hospital.
