Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, on Saturday dissolved the State Executive Council.
“All those affected by this dissolution are to handover all government properties in their possession, together with their handover notes, to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
“The Governor expresses his deep appreciation to these men and women for their services to the people of Abia State, and wishes them well for the future endeavours,” according to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem.
He said that the Governor has also approved the recall from suspension of his Chief of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere.
Another statement by Ezem disclosed that the dissolution of the State Executive Council exempts the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Uche Ihediwa, Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, and the Commissioner for Health, Dr Joe Osuji.
“They are to continue performing the duties of their offices along with the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem,” he said.
