Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has described 2021 as the year of promise and divine accomplishment, urging the good people of Imo State to join him to march confidently as God will not abandon us.

In his New Year broadcast to the people, Governor Uzodimma told the citizens to “be rest assured that shared prosperity will manifest in every local government this year and that this shall be the year of great promise for everyone.”

He said at the rate his government is going in terms of dealing with all the ugly issues that plagued the state before now, the state will be better off by time next year when we all will look forward to another new year in 2022.

“One thing I am sure of is that at the rate we are moving, my 2022 New Year gift to Imo people will be a brand new Imo State that will be a marvel to all and the pride of every Imo person, to the glory of God,” Governor Uzodimma noted.

Uzodimma added: “As we embrace the new year, let us march confidently knowing that we have a God who will never abandon us and that we also have a Government that deeply cares for the welfare of all Imo people and residents irrespective of political or religious affiliation.”
