Late Founder and General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance Mission, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu

The founder and General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance Mission, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, has died at the age of 79.
It was gathered that Nwachukwu passed away at 3am on Monday morning in the comfort of his home.
Confirming his father’s death through a telephone conversation, the son of the Bishop, Prophet Ejike Nwachukwu, who is also a pastor in the church, said that his father died peacefully.
He said that though he was sick previously, he recovered and was in sound health before he died.
“Though he had told us that after Christmas, he would like to go home and rest as he would not like to be sickly to the point of being a burden to anyone.
“We didn’t understand what he meant, so we didn’t take him seriously because he was not sick, but by 3am today, he breathed his last. He has gone to be with his maker,” Ejike Nwachukwu added.
Until his death, Bishop Nwachukwu was quite popular, especially in Igbo land where the headquarters of his church is located.
An indigene of Umunya, Oyi local government of Anambra State, late Nwachukwu was reputed to have an all-pastor family, with all his five sons heading various branches of the Rhema Deliverance Mission.
