Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress, Tiwatope Savage, professionally known as Tiwa Savage, had the shock of her life when her ex-husband, Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun stormed her home unannounced.
A video posted by the Eminado crooner on her Instagram page shows her divorced husband tip toe into her apartment while their 5-year old son Jami was sleeping in the bedroom.
Teebillz entered the bedroom and made some sound to wake the boy up. The son woke and noticed his father standing by his bedside.
He jumped on the father with great joy. The twosome fell in bed in warm embrace as Tiwa Savage watched in admiration.
The 40 year-old Lagos State-born University of Kent and Berklee College of Music graduate later expressed her feelings about the surprise Christmas eve visit by her divorced husband thus:
“Truly priceless. @teebillz323 thank you for surprising @officialjamibalogun and giving him his best Christmas gift #Godisfaithful.”
But she did not mention the type of gift and whether or not her ex-husband also gave her a Christmas gift too. Some people say reconciliation loading...
It will be recalled that Tiwa Savage and Teebillz got married on November 23, 2013 in a traditional marriage held at the Ark in Lekki, Lagos.
The couple’s white wedding was held on April 26, 2014 at the Armani Hotel in Dubai.
On January 1, 2015, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. Six months later, Savage gave birth to their son.
The following year, Balogun accused his wife of infidelity and his mother-in-law of witchcraft.
Reacting to the grave allegations, Tiwa extensively addressed her husband’s lengthy social media posts regarding their marriage. She debunked his infidelity claims and accused him of financial recklessness, drug addiction and abandonment. She said her marriage to him was over.
