American pugilist Floyd ‘The Money’ Mayweather Jr. minutes ago made history by outslugging his Philipino arch-rival Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao to win the boxing fight of the century at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

The most won expensive fight in history went the distance, with Mayweather Jr. emerging victorious after the 12 rounds. He won on a unanimous points decision, with the three judges scoring it 118-110, 116-112, 116-112.

Mayweather Jr. thus took home all three titles at stake – the WBC, WBA and WBO welterweight crowns.

Mayweather, 38, thus remains unbeaten in 48 professional fights. He came out of the fight $180 million richer while Pacquiao, 36, who went into the fight with 57 wins and five defeats from 64 pro fights, received $120 million.
