All is set for the 2020 End of Year Party of the Anambra Media Practitioners, which will take place at the Anambra Media Excellence Awards (AMEA) on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Marble Arch Hotel’s Event Centre, Okpuno, Awka, Anambra.
Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris, President, Association of Digital Media Core Advocates (ADMCA) and CEO, AMEA, disclosed this is a statement issued in Awka this Monday morning, November 23.
He announced 5pm, as kick-off time, saying: “Entertainments enthusiasts, Gentlemen of the Press, Online media Practitioners, Political bigwigs, Academia, the Clergy, Corporate Organizations, Government functionaries, Movie Stars, highly spirited individuals, successful business men and women, will be treated to sessions full of fun, glitz, sonorous tunes, with tantalising food and drinks.
“Invited guests and hosts will throw banters over the table and watch the magnetic performances from the musical artistes on parade, both traditional and contemporary. The event will be anchored by the duo of Ada Owerri Chinyere Okpe and Ada Igbo Chukwura both world class Compere, and broadcast journalists who are set to thrill the audience from their rich repertoire of jokes.”
Continuing, the AMEA CEO said: “AMEA is indeed a perfect time for the Anambra media practitioners, to recount the successes recorded within the year and seize the opportunity to appreciate the contributions of the entire members of the media community. Outstanding performances of renowned broadcasters, writers, On Air Personalities, journalists whose contributions to the growth and development of the media industry will be duly recognised. AMEA2020 is a night dedicated to recognising Excellence and Exceptional performance among Practitioners and Stakeholders.
“The annual media awards for Practitioners with several categories will be awarded to the best candidates. Also, commendation and special recognitions awards will be presented to accomplished individuals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers.
“The Association of Digital media Core Advocates ADMCA organisers of AMEA charges members of the media to be more dedicated as we continue to champion the development of Anambra media industry.”
