Veteran Nigerian actress, director and businesswoman, Joke Silva, has made a true confession.

While her friends, colleagues and relations called to celebrate her 35 years of marriage to an equally veteran actor Olu Jacobs, the 59 years old daughter of a pioneering doctor mother and lawyer father said she forgot everything about the special date.

“Totally forgot. 35 years together. Thank you Lord. Here is to many more. Happy wedding anniversary Omo Boy @_olujacobs,” she confessed.

The Lagos State-born English graduate from the University of Lagos and her husband met in 1981 at the National Theatre, Lagos during the 21st Independence anniversary.

The two lovebirds formally wedded four years later in Lagos.

The marriage is blessed with two children.

It’s good her loved ones called to remind her of that special day when she tied the nuptials with her 78 years old actor husband, who together they now operate the Lufodo Group, a media corporation that consists of film production, distribution assets and the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts.
