Nigeria’s veteran galala singer and king of ghetto dance, John Asiemo, professionally known as Daddy Showkey, is currently immersed in a controversy.

The rumour making the rounds has it that the Ajegunle superstar went under the surgeon's knife recently hence his new trimmed look without his well known pot belly.

But the Delta State-born musician has been indifferent to the rumour over his now flat tummy.

Instead, he posted on Monday two photos on his Instagram page portraying his looks “Before” and “Now”.

Without debunking the rumour, he only said: “Some people dey say I go do operation for my belle. Ok, wetin una like make una talk.”

And in a video clip posted later in the day, he wondered why people should say he underwent a surgery to achieve his new looks.

“Dem say I go do surgery that’s why my belle flat. But all I know is that I look good,” he said.

Advising those he referred to as rumour mongers, he said: “Look good and thank God!”
