Veteran actress Ada Ameh on October 20 broke the sad news of the death of her daughter Aladi Godgifts Ameh.

Since then, it has been all gloomy for the Idoma, Benue State-born thespian as she has been mourning the death of the only child she gave birth to at the age of 14 out of wedlock.

Ada Ameh, who is most notable for her character as Anita in 1996 movie titled “Domitilla” and as Emu Johnson in the award-winning Nigerian TV series titled, “The Johnsons” has been crying all day and all night for the demise of her daughter who was buried on Thursday, October 29 in Abuja.

But her fellow Nollywood star Empress Njamah was able to pull a magic wand which has set in motion the journey to Ada Ameh’s recovery from the shock of the loss.

Empress Njamah disclosed how she got her mourning colleague to laugh and dance again.

“If you know her, you’ll know she does not have any dull moment. And because I know how to make her laugh, I played her favourite from @pastorankingfire. See who stopped crying at the middle of the night and got up to dance. The fall at the end. Lol.

“Please keep praying for her because she needs it now than (sic) ever. RIP @laslas_touch,” Empress wrote as a footnote to a video clip showing Ada Ameh laughing and dancing but stumbled and almost fell down due to lack of strength.

The mourning actress has been asking Nigerians to pray for her during this trying period of her life.

Her late daughter was a makeup artist, an actress, a fashion enthusiast and a business woman.

The cause of her death has not been known but an Instagram post by the deceased before her death contained some clues about depression and devastation.

The post also revealed that a lump was found in her breast, and at some point, she began to lose weight, and thought she had cancer. She also revealed that she had a lot of family issues.
