Nollywood diva and Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, Iniobong Edoamaowo Ekim is in celebration mood.

The 38 years old English graduate from the University of Calabar went through an ill-fated six years marriage with Philip Ehiagwina, an American-based business man. The marriage collapsed in September 2014 without a child.

The actress’ younger sister by name Aidy also got married to Joe Mark but for many years, there was no fruit of the womb.

But during the week, Aidy gave birth to a bouncing baby girl who has been christened Ekeminiabasi (Ibibio name meaning God’s own time)

The United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy (2014) and movie star’s joy knew no bounds as she took to her Instagram page on Thursday to post her picture cuddling the bundle of joy.

The accompanying write up reproduced below says it all:

“Good morning sugar, it’s been a minute ...The past weeks has (sic) been one hell of a roller coaster for us and to me personally. I have been through one the toughest challenges of my life and that brings me to the celebration of this baby’s life.

“Am not one to share personal stories but I believe this is worth telling as a testimony to the glory of God and to shame the devices of the devil.

“After years of miscarriages, one ailment to the other, my baby sister @aidyjoemark delivered this amazing gift from God. Ekemini Abasi meaning God's own time, a miracle and a beauty to behold.

“I just want to glorify the name of the Lord for indeed He never fails... Deut 7:13.”
