Late UNIPORT Alumni Association BoT member, Dr Solomon Ibulubo
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Alumni Association has sent a message of condolence to the family of Dr. Solomon Ibulubo, who passed away after a brief illness.
Ibulubo, a lecturer in the Department of History and Diplomatic Studies of UNIPORT, was until his death, a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the association.
He will be buried in his hometown Ogoloma, in Okrika local government area of Rivers State, on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10am.
A statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the BoT, Dr. Alex Otti, and the National President, Chris Adokeme, Esq., enjoined members to attend the burial at Ogoloma.
Ibulubo, a 1984 History graduate of the institution, died at the age of 68 years.
He was a director in the Rivers State civil service before taking up a teaching appointment in his alma mater.
He was also a pastor with the Living Faith Bible Church, a.k.a Winners Chapel, until his demise.
