Former Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has said Goodluck Ebele Jonathan lost March 28 presidential election to General Muhammadu Buhari because bigwigs in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had boasted of ruling the nation for over 60 years.
Tsav told Newswatch Times that when some people started leaving the party, they were called traitors and observed that when the elections drew nearer, few persons took over its affairs.
“Asari Dokubo threatened that Nigeria would no longer exist if Jonathan failed to win; he insulted Danjuma, he insulted Obasanjo,” Tsav recalled.
The anti corruption crusader further recalled thus: “after Dokubo came Fani Kayode and Fayose who were followed by Mrs Jonathan who abused senior officers, abused notable figures in a particular part of the country while Clark abused everybody”.
While emphasizing that Gowon appointed Clark as commissioner, Tsav said Muazu kept quiet while his elders were being insulted.
He said PDP members would find it difficult to regroup, because they may leave for the All Progressives Congress, (APC), and pointed out that if they must regroup, then, they must have the fear of God.
