IGP orders arrest of invaders of Yenagoa court

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, has condemned Monday’s invasion of a Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, during which a court process was disrupted, and two female lawyers assaulted.

Force Public Relations Officer, Ag. CP Emmanuel C. S. Ojukwu, said Abba had directed the CP Bayelsa Command to fish out the perpetrators of the act and bring them to justice.

“The IGP reasserts the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to provide a safe and secure environment for the dispensation of justice,” Ojukwu added.
