Gwoza, the very important town in Borno State, North-East Nigeria, hitherto under the occupation of Boko Haram terrorists, is back under the control of Nigerian forces.
“Gwoza was captured by Nigerian troops today,” a reliable source close to Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters, told News Express minutes ago.
President Goodluck Jonathan had yesterday assured that Gwoza would be liberated today as Nigerians prepare to go to the polls tomorrow to vote in the country’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
