The Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Chief David Seikiri Ugedi, says the recovery of the Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa; his wife, Dame Mrs. Edith Okowa; and their daughter from the Coronovirus disease shows God in action over the family of Dr. Okowa and Delta state.

While expressing joy over the recovery of the Delta State First Family and other top government officials as well as all those who have tested negative and recovered totally from the pandemic, Chief Ugedi noted that with this development, Deltans should expect more development consolidated by the Governor and his team as there are is no impediment to functions of government in the state.

He therefore expressed the optimism that the state must surely overcome the Coronavirus disease ravaging the country and the world.

He charged Deltans to adhere strictly to the COVID 19 protocols which include washing of hands/use of hand sanitizers, use of face mask, avoiding crowded places as well as maintaining social/physical distancing.

Chief Ugedi a grassroots politician and unionist thanked God for preserving and healing the Delta state Governor’s family within the shortest period while commending the Governor for his visionary leadership especially in building a befitting state secretariat that will move all government ministries and parastatals to be in the same building thereby creating a legacy in the state civil service which will also help in speedy service delivery.
