Oil mogul, Prince Arthur Eze
By PAMELA EBOH, Awka
Oil mogul, Prince Arthur Eze, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as the only President who has impacted the Igbo nation with provision of infrastructure.
He named the projects to include the second Niger Bridge and Akanu Ibiam International Airport.
Eze, who made the assertion in a statement by his media consultant, Oliver Okpala, said that the establishment of those projects had endeared President Buhari in the hearts of Ndigbo.
The statement partly reads: “The president has continued to endear himself in the hearts of Igno through the massive provision of economic and infrastructural facilities to the zone.
“The modernization and uplifting of Akanu Ibiam Airport to an international standard with midern runway and facilities that can compete favourably with any airport in any part of the world, is another step worthy of commendation.
“The concern of the South-East in terms of security, protection of lives and property has been tackled head on by the President.”
While saying that the people of the area owed him eternal gratitude, the oil magnate said that with the creation of Zonal Police Headquarters (zone 13) at Ukpor, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, the President has shown exceptional love to the people of the area.
He added that President Buhari and the Inspector General of Police have demonstrated uncommon goodwill towards the people of the South-East geopolitical zone and should now be rest assured of our unalloyed support and loyalty.
Citing a new police headquarters at Nkpor, Dunukofia, in Anambra State is a feat that has shown cleanly that the President is man of the Igbo and the entire South-East.
“This demonstration of good faith by the president which includes the appointment of notable Igbo sons and daughters into top positions in government are so legendary in the annals of the history of the Igbo race,” Eze said.
