The national leadership of the Nigerian Students’ Parliament (NSP) led by Mr. Mubarak Aliyu Rimi has paid a visit to the Minister for State Foreign Affairs with a view to proffering solutions to the lingering issues faced by Nigerian students schooling abroad.
The NSP Committee Chairman on Information, Paraiso Ismaila Abiodun, representing Lagos central senatorial district, told the minister of the need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist Nigerian students in Egypt to come back home.
Paraiso, alongside other student parliamentarians, decried the worried state the yearnings of their colleagues in faraway Egypt has become a burden to the entire Nigerian students Parliament (NSP).
The Minister, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, while responding to the NSP leadership promised to do everything to support Nigerian students. The minister immediately called for the scheduling of a flight that will bring the said Nigerian students in Egypt back home by June 28th, 2020.
Dada also promised the NSP that the Foreign Affairs Ministry will do everything within its ability to assist other Nigerian students in other foreign lands to return home.
