The family of former beauty queen Ibidunni Ighodalo has confirmed her sudden death, lamenting that it has brought “a difficult time” to it and to the Olaleye Ajayi family from which she hailed.

“The Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who passed away in the early hours of today.

“As you will understand, this is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some privacy during this time.

“All information of burial proceedings will be provided in due course. May her soul rest in peace,” a statement by both families said.

Ibidun, 40 and wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church, died in the early hours of today, Sunday, June 14, 2020, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, reportedly of cardiac arrest.

She is survived by two children and her husband of 13 years.
