The East-West road from Eleme junction to Onne junction of Rivers State is long over due to be fixed. The impact of the Federal Ministry of Works on the road is nothing to talk about. It's really unfortunate that the Federal Government has not done enough towards the deplorable condition of the road despite the cry from motorists plying the road. The NDDC is not helping issue, afterall this is not the first time we heard that NDDC have taken over the fixing of the road. I hope this will not be another attempt to divert the mind of the Niger Delta people because electioneering period is at hand. The road is now a death trap for the road users. For crying out loud, the FGN should live up to expectations.

The incessant blockage of federal & state routes by both the Nigerian police & military has become worrisome. An entrance into Oyigbo or Obigbo metropolis has been blocked by the Nigerian Military after the #endsars protests that led to death of many in the area, which has bee swept under the said carpet. A Drive from Aba to Port Harcourt on the deadliest federal govt Aba - Port Hardcore express way, it is no longer news that about 18 army & police checkpoints collecting tolls from the "kpofire" moguls and commuters are on this route that makes users go through hardships untold. We call on authorities & institutions to see a stop to this menace.
