The question of constitutionality of suspending the state executive and the legislative structures is yet to be resolved. Yes, the President may impose emergence regime is not in question but can he dismantle the the executive and legislative arms? Posterity will certainly judge the NASS harshly.

between the will of the people and the evil forces bent on destroying the state for personal gains. The President can't exconorate Wike who is the mastermind of the crisis in Rivers State. He looks like playing along Wike because of his hatchet man's job in 2023 election.

The declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State clearly is a total rape on democracy. The President's speech which only blamed Gov. Sim Fubara shows clearly the the president is more of a slave to Wike who grossly rigged Rivers election for him. This is a clear fight between the will of the people and the criminal hyjackers of the Rivers State to control its resources for selfish ends. Why must the president keep Wike aside. This is unacceptable.
