If na like dis Lagos be dat time wen I run comot for my village for Ogbomosho, I for no come. I for say anyting wey Arike Papa like, make e do, after all, I sure say no be me give im pikin belle.

Na only be say Arike body and my body dey touch becos we siddon for di same table for class. Me and Arike dey di same Standard 5 for di night school wey di two both of us dey go for village.

As Arike get belle, im papa wan take African Insurance finish me. E say na me do am. But no be me. I swear! If na me, make I baf naked for bafroom.

Na im make I run come Lagos dat year tipe tipe. As I reach Lagos, I first learn mecho work. Wen I finish, I come dey do taxi driver work. From dia, I come marry Bose, den Oluwa come give us our two woman pikin, Bisi and Funke. Forget dat man wey Arike born for village, no be my pikin.

Since dat time wey I start dis my taxi driver work, I dey enjoy Lagos gan. But since dis korona-wetin-call show face, Lagos don turn upside down patapata.

Gofment talk say make we dey tell our passenger to wash dia hand with soap water and cover dia face like Egugun Calabar, but how many passenger wan do dat one? How many passenger dey for road sef, wey you go begin dey nack law for dem?

My wife, Bose tell me di order day say dis Sunday make I follow am go for dia church wey dey for Pen Cinema, say dia pastor wan cast and bind Korona.

Our Union Chairman sef, Jimoh don tell me say e wan carry me today Friday go im Mosque, say dia Afa wan do special prayer so dat no matter di kind passenger we carry, Korona no go ever touch us.

Dis church and mosque matter sweet me for belle, no be small.

Since yesterday, I don go deep down my iron box, go bring out di cloth wey I go wear go mosque today and church on Sunday, but see wetin come happen…

For night, na im Oga Sanwo-Olu talk am for television say e don ban church, mosque or anyting wey go make plenty people dey togeder. Tori Olorun!

Na im be say small time, dem go talk say no market again and make everybody siddon for house. Shey, dis Koro come to finish everybody for Lagos?

I dey suspect say na ObaniKoro send dis wicked Koro come for Lagos.

I don dey talk am for my mind say, if by dis week wey we wan enter so, ObaniKoro no carry im Koro comot for Lagos, I dey go back to my village make di son of man no come peme for Lagos.

But wia I go start from sef? Village wey my leg never touch since 1965 wen I run come Lagos! Olorun Oba o!

Make we jam again on Tuesday.

Tank you.

Tank you very much.

And tank you very, very much indeed.
