Noting wey person no go see for dis taxi driver work. If no be say di son of man dey shine im eye well well, I for don pack dis my guonguoro tipe tipe.

Even dough I no run comot for my village for Ogbomosho, come Lagos with clear eye, di ting be say na money man dey work for to use am take care of my family and order orisirisi tings.

I no go lie, some passenger good gan, and some bad. But if dem say make I talk, bad passenger dem plenty pass good ones one million time. Yes, na me talk am. Na my work.

See like yesterday, I siddon jeje for our garage wey dey near Ikeja under bridge. I say make I rest small after di morning rush as gofment don drive Keke Marwa and Okada dem comot for Lagos road.

I no dey carry passenger go far again as e be say passenger dem plenty for bus stop nyafu nyafu - morning, afternoon and night.

But dat yesterday for afternoon gan gan, one bobo like dat come meet me for garage. E say make I carry am for drop go Mushin. Mushin ke? For dis period wey Go-slow full everywia for Lagos?

Well sha, na money I dey find. I tell di bobo my price, e gree. I jump inside my guonguoro, di bobo sef enter for back seat. I open ignition, start engine and put am for gear one. We don dey go be dat.

As we dey go, I use style dey look di bobo for my mirror. Di bobo jus dey wipe im face with hankerchief. I no first understand, but I come notice later say di bobo jus dey sweat from head to toe like xmas goat.

I come talk am for my mind say how e no go sweat, wen e carry one oversize old school jacket wear, and use long rope tie im neck for dis kind hot weather?

And na so di bobo carry one big file like dat with orisirisi paper for inside di file. I first ting say na pastor, bank manager or minister I dey carry.

Wen we manage reach Mushin bus stop, e say make I park for one corner make im enter one place. E say e no go tey.

I tell am say na drop I carry am, no be charter wey I go begin wait for am. Di bobo beg me say make I give am jus one minute, say me sef go enjoy wen e come back.

As I look, I see say na one kiosk wey dem dey play Baba Ijebu di bobo enter. E bring out di big file wey e carry, comot di papers and give to di girl wey dey for di kiosk. I jus dey look ti two both of dem.

Small time, di bobo go for di notice board wey dem keep for front of di kiosk, e begin look all di draw wey dem right for di notice board, and compare with di ting wey e write for im paper.

Di next ting be say di bobo carry im two hand put for im head, begin cry dey come meet me. Tori Olorun!

I ask wetin do am, e say all di draw wey im bank on don fail am. E say e been use N5,000 nap dat game, but di ting don fail.

Di bobo say na im make e dress fine becos e been sure say e go clear all di money for di Baba Ijebu , at list N10m, wey e for carry go bank straight and pay me double my money. Shioooh!

I tell di bobo say, make e forget di double, make e jus pay me di one wey we gree for garage. Di bobo tell me say shi-shi no dey im pocket, say all im hope na inside dat Baba Ijebu.

I tell am say no wahala. I look everyting wey e wear for body, all na okrika wake up. Even di shoe wey dey im leg don chop finish, and na so di shoe bend go one side, dey swear to God.

I see one phone for im hand, na screen touch, no be like my chinko. Na im I collect am for im hand, begin go my way. After all, noting concern me, concern Baba Ijebu.
