The constituents of Dutsamma/Kurfi Federal Constituency have commended their representative in the Federal House, Hon. Armaya’u Abdulkadir, for facilitating major projects that are already impacting positively on the lives of his constituency.

He is said to be facilitating the construction of much needed state-of-the-art public buildings, including primary and secondary schools and market malls in Kurfi, all geared towards making life easier for his people.

A group known as the Concerned Citizens of Katsina State led by Mr Aminu Lawal Othman expressed their admiration of the development strides of Hon. Abdulkadir, noting that he is a perfect example of how to function as an effective representative of his people in the Federal House.

“Hon. Abdulkadir is a model of a great representative. His love for his Dutsama/Kurfi people is finely reflected in the many ultra-modern projects that are currently under construction there, standing visibly as a beacon of hope and an exemplar of good governance. He is a man who is certainly putting on a human face to the issue of representing his people,” Othman says.

Hon. Abdulkadir’s dedication towards the betterment of the lives of Dutsima/Kurfi people, the group noted, stretches beyond providing good physical structures alone. He is also directly impacting on his people positively in the areas of providing relief to those who are physically challenged. He is the chairman of a foundation (Khairan Development Foundation) set up to, among other things, fight the scourge of sickle cell disease in Katsina state. His foundation has donated thousands of drugs to combat sickle cell and facilitated treatments for those suffering from the disease.

The Federal legislator was described as being the major brain behind the provision of relief materials which were recently distributed to victims of banditry in his constituency, including bags of maize, rice, beans, salt and jerry cans of cooking oil, as well as mattresses, nets, bedsheets and rubber mats among others.

“Hon. Abdulkadir’s hardwork, dedication and philanthropy is legendary. If his colleagues in the National Assembly can emulate what he is doing, Nigeria will be a better place,” Othman adds.
