When embattled Nigerian rap music star, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley opined that “Having a big booty is better than having a Master’s degree” many dismissed it with a flip of the finger, attributing the statement to excessive alcohol, Marijuana intake, or a mere quest for public attention.

However, one person who took the matter to heart was former Lagos State Police Public Relation’s Officer (PRO), Dolapo Badmus.

Reacting to Naira Marley’s statement on her Instagram account, the eloquent police chief who takes no prisoners whenever she decides to comment on matters of public interest, described the ‘Soapy’ crooner’s opinion as “public nuisance”.

She said; “So having a big body part is now better than having educational or vocational qualifications? Like seriously? I still can’t get over this. I’m saying it again, we need to restore sanity to our system and stop tolerating public nuisance.”

She added that celebrating societal delinquents under the guise of making music is outright mediocrity and should be nipped in the bud.

“It’s mediocrity for anyone to applaud an obviously delinquent and unproductive dead duck (deemed a bad influence) hiding under the guise of making music, obnoxious music for that matter,” she said.

However, she advised the younger generation not to be deceived by perverted celebrities or anybody who misleads them to believe that education is not as important as it is being painted.

She said: “My advice to younger ones: let no one confuse you. To have a good body part is great, but to have educational or vocational qualification is more important! In fact it’s non-negotiable! Your body part cannot give you sustainable existence; only good educational or vocational qualification will do.

“Be guided! Say no to hard drugs; hard drug destroys,” PRO Badmus said. (Independent)
