U.S. President, Barack Obama and NGO President, Fela Bright, are both based in national capitals, Washington and Abuja respectively. Obama and Bright are both left handed.

Obama and Bright have been into social work, Obama into civil rights and Bright, human rights. Obama and Bright are both married with two kids.

Obama was at the University of Chicago, and Chicago is the capital of mid-west America, home of the world’s first skyscraper, third largest city in the U.S. and founded in the 19th century. Bright was at the University of Ibadan, and Ibadan is the capital of south-west Nigeria, home of Nigeria’s first skyscraper, third largest city in Nigeria and also founded in the 19th century.

As an undergraduate Obama was pioneer Black President of Harvard Law Review. As an undergraduate Bright was pioneer President of a students’ Physics association.

Obama is a Constitutional Lawyer and Bright was Chairman of the Constitution Review Committee of the students Union and later Nigerian representative of the SAS Law School UK.

President Barack Obama said recently that the progress of Africa is inextricably linked with that of Nigeria, a development which underscores the country’s importance to the U.S. policy thrust as it relates to trade, investments, and other key areas of bi-lateral engagement.

Obama made this known at the U.S.-Nigeria Trade and Investment Forum, an event organised by the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDOA) in Washington DC.

The US President who was represented by Ambassador Eunice Roddick said Nigeria is the world’s next economic success story, stressing that this was one of the major reasons why the U.S. is assisting the Nigerian Government in removing trade and investment barriers as clearly evident in the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

Physics made America what it is today. Fela Bright is planning Physics clubs for Nigerian secondary schools. His tenure as President of the Physics Students Association has been described as being unprecedented in the history of the Physics Department, University of Ibadan. He started a Science Club at the Youth Palace, Dugbe Business District, Ibadan, and also assisted with the Children’s Science Club of the Abadina Media Resource Centre, University of Ibadan.

Fela Bright’s love for Italian cars as an undergraduate made him adopt the Italian name Ferrari. Fela, who loves reading the collected works of George Bernard Shaw, has also been doing some work on reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.He is an old boy of CMS Grammar School, Bariga, Lagos, the oldest such institution in Nigeria.
