The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Friday, November 3, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are expected over the North East, while North West is to remain sunny and hazy throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are anticipated to be in the ranges of 35 – 38℃ and 15 – 22℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range 33 – 36℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively, except over Jos where 28 /15℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospect of localised thunderstorms over Calabar and Eket in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are likely over Akure, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Enugu, Owerri, Awka, Warri, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Lagos in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 34℃ and 21 – 25℃ respectively.
