In Bible times, mighty men of valour – Naaman, an army General; Zaccheus, a chief custom officer; the Centurion, to mention but a few – all came and bowed to God, through Christ Jesus. Similarly, today, men of the armed forces need a greater force; they have issues and face difficulties of life that the forces of gun and other weapons of war cannot resolve. Moreover, they need salvation. It is a costly assumption to think you are a child of God, only to find out, after your death, that you are turned back at heaven’s gate.

The greatest sin of any man is taking God for granted. Proverbs 6:16-18 says: “These six things God hates: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations.”

The time to repent is now. The truth is that whatever we do comes back to us, be it evil or good, hence we need repentance. If any one’s life’s journey ends in hell, instead of heaven, it is highly pathetic. Every one of us, as humans, carries an internal need that requires a greater force, God Almighty. The grace of God is still available at no cost. All that is needed is for you to say Lord Jesus, I have come. Repentance is all that is needed.

You can now imagine how important to accept our Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour for these three reasons: 1. Everyone has a sinful past, and only Jesus Christ can clean it up.

2. Everyone needs a friend. Christ will re-build and perfect us.

3. Christ alone holds our future. He has good plans for each and every one of us. Let us invite him into our lives. The sweetest side of the story is making heaven, to be with God.

Just as Jesus instructed Zaccheus, you must make haste to come down. Luke 7:2-10; Luke 19:1-9. Your days are not in your hand. What if God requires it today?

We, in addition to our foreign missions, have this divine mandate to capture the military back to Christ. Our journey has been successful by the special grace of God, as the Inspector, Lucky Idahosa, collected from Pastor Enoch Iburene, for the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2; the P A to the former Commandant, Ojo Cantonment, collected for the Commandant; WO Uwom Umoren, the P A collected for the Commandant of Air Force Base, Ikeja. At Police College, Ikeja, Commandant Francis received the tracts with joy, and at Naval Base, Alakija, Commodore Yekwe welcomed us and many others too numerous to mention. The mission work continues. The men of God are many in the armed forces, praise the Lord. I do pray others should come on board.

The only sad aspect of the news happened on a recent Wednesday, when my husband went to give the tracts meant for the Police Force to the Commissioner of Police at Alausa, the Personal Assistant to the CP rejected collecting the parcel, even after my husband opened it. He said the CP has no time for such things. And it makes me wonder……

Does the PA have power to turn down a parcel addressed to the CP?

The military must be redeemed of its negative image. A country or a world with a godless military is heading for total disaster. We do not need that. Enough of Hate Actions (senseless blood shedding, taking of bribes, intimidation of innocent civilians, raping of innocent women, duping people, conniving with godless politicians, which gives birth to hate speech. We are fed up with the display of a high-level of witchcraft and wizardry.

Be saved from bribery and corruption, from blood-shedding and every evil act. Come as you are! Come and experience the saving power of Christ. Come and have a new life in Christ Jesus. A word is enough for the wise.
