Deputy Senate Leader Bala Ibn Na’Allah representing Kebbi South Senatorial Zone on Sunday felicitated with the people of Kebbi South, the state and entire Nigerians for the successful and peaceful completion of fasting period and witnessing of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

He said in a statement that the zone has witnessed many positive changes especially in the areas of youth empowerment, provision of over 60 motorised boreholes, construction of modern health care facilities in Magoro, Unashi and Garin Baka, upgrade of Zuru Town Hall, construction of four jetties across Riverine area of Yauri Emirate and a modern international fish market in Yauri.

Na’Allah said other completed projects include the construction of Police officers residential quarters in Wasagu, provision of two ambulance boat to riverine villages in Yauri emirate, provision of four ambulance buses across hospitals in the zone,

facilitating job opportunities for teaming unemployed youths as well as provision of agricultural implements to farmers amongst other constituency projects across the seven Local Government areas of the zone.

He said the senatorial zone will accord agriculture a top-most priority in line with the State and Federal Government agricultural reform programme.

“It is my hope that seeking Prayers from Almighty Allah by the Ummah, will continue to usher in peace and tranquillity in Nigeria.

“May the Almighty Allah grant, Kebbi South, our dear State and the nation peace, progress and development. Once more, I wish you happy Happy Eid-el-Fitr,” Na’Allah said.
