MY MEMO: THE TRUTH

Happy Christmas

Yesterday the 24th of December 2013, I sent you a text message explaining to you what truly propelled me to resign. You also sent a message to me expressing disappointment with me. I later promised to send a memo to your Email.

It is the will of Almighty God that you appointed me as one of your aides. I also know that you still remember how we started. I showed you so much love. I gave you undiluted loyalty. I trusted you.

Hmmmmm!!! What then happened to our relationship? I saw myself as Benjamin Uwajumogu. I saw myself as the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly. I saw myself as the emerging philosopher king in Benjamin Uwajumogu. So I gave you my heart. I gave you my political soul and body. I worked tirelessly to build the Benjamin Uwajumogu of my dream.

I over worked myself in building the Benjamin Uwajumogu of my choice. I saw myself in you and I did not hide it. Soon you became the envy of all political masters in this State. Even the Governor himself envied you. The former Deputy Governor (Sir Jude Agbaso) once said to you in my presence and in the presence of your other aides at Government House: “Speaker, you are very lucky that you have effective aides especially Samuelson. As for me, I do not have aides”.

You also became the envy of your brother Speakers across the nation, because I was reaching everybody in this Country. I was just busy marketing my Speaker.

What then happened? In the office, my fellow aides became frightened that I was outshining them before you. Let me put it on record that I am the only Senior Aide of the Speaker that

1. Did not buy a new car
2. Did not buy land.
3. Did not build a new house.
4. Did not commit fraud.
5. I returned unspent funds to you on several occasions.

My returning of unspent funds did not go down well with my colleagues in the office. They felt uncomfortable with me. They saw it as an indirect way of exposing and indicting them. Nobody in this government will accuse me of fraud; I am ready to be probed. I showed leadership and the people of Imo State have already applauded me for that.

I gave overwhelming service, love and protection to anybody who came in contact with me at the office. I protected you. I protected the office. Even when there was an impeachment plot against you in February 2012 (you were not around, you travelled to Abuja), I personally stormed the Assembly with my boys and took control of the entire Assembly Complex to the shock of even security men. I spent my personal money to quench the plot. Even when INEC wanted to be funny in January 2013, I used my two platforms (SLAP INITIATIVE and IMO INITIATIVE) to harass everybody and every authority threatening your seat and position. I was not just your boy (aide), I was Benjamin Uwajumogu Jnr. I was ODOKOROMEE II. In short I was the Ogbuhorozo II.

My presence around you threatened so many people’s aspirations. Your political opponents became aware that Samuelson Iwuoha, the activist and Crusader would crush them should they try to harm Rt. Hon. Chief Benjamin Chukwuemeka Uwajumogu. The little money I had was

used to do researches and to expand my media and internet network machinery in readiness for the 2015 election. As at April 2011, I had about 800,000 circulation strength email addresses. But today I have circulation strength of over 2.3million email addresses, which has placed me in an advantageous position in the entire south east.

I used my remaining little money to build bridges (NUJ, NUT, JOURNALISTS, TRADE UNIONS, MARKET UNIONS, YOUTH ASSOCIATIONS, WOMEN GROUPS, POLITICAL GROUPS ETC.) across the entire state. I assisted people (mainly down trodden people). I practically showed and demonstrated leadership to the extent that I even forgot to take care of myself. And because Samuelson is/was Uwajumogu’s boy, all my efforts inadvertently catapulted you my beloved boss to high heavens.

You became a house hold name in Imo State. I was ruthlessly preparing you for either Senate or any other higher position. Luckily for me, I was already a popular activist and crusader in Nigeria before I joined your political team. It was therefore very easy for me to sell and market you.

What really happened? I am still puzzled and dazed that this relationship is on the verge of collapse.

In April 2013, an American Christian University (Alive University Akron Ohio) USA contacted me for a doctoral University award. They were pleased with my exploits on the internet and how I was projecting and marketing the image of my Speaker. I accepted their offer but on the condition that my Speaker was equally honoured. That was how I contacted you but you did not show interest. Out of love, I decided to spend my own money (my last card) for the two doctoral degree awards without really reading any negative meaning to it. During your birthday on the 30th June 2013, I did a wonderful write up on you which was published on the internet, face book, Newspapers and read as news talk on radio. In the said write-up, I subtly fired a warning signal and also tried to position you in Okigwe zone. That was my offence. I went on suspension in July 11th 2013. I apologized. I practically showed remorse and you asked me to resume work on August 12th 2013.

But the Chief of Staff (Kodichi Anamekwe) had other plans. Emeka Ahaneku (Fast-Fast) also had other plans. Kodichi had all along been fighting me since August 2011. He wanted me out by all means because I had already proved myself right before you. He felt out shined. He had brought several people to you in order to have me replaced. He saw me as a threat to his having full control of everything in the Office. He converted the Office to an Ihitte/Uboma constituency office. He had filled the office with his loyalists but still not comfortable with me. Hence he continued to blackmail me before you at any slightest opportunity. On my part, I simply opened a file on him and mounted a serious Intel on him. My boys (both at the Assembly and on the streets) monitored him and his activities for me and I documented everything he did to the extent that I have a complete dossier of his dirty dealings (corrupt Practices).

Emeka Ahaneku who I took as my brother later showed himself to be more interested in material things later teamed up with Kodichi to blackmail me before you. He started stealing and diverting stipends meant for correspondents. I thought he understood what I was doing in the media department, but he disappointed me by allowing the Department which I made formidable to collapse in just few months I handed over to him. But thank God I did not hand over the machinery, because they are my personal property and initiatives.

When I came back from my suspension, I was asked to head a new department (Special Duties) which I accepted since I have nose, eyes, skin, ears and the hand to make things to happen. I am very versatile to the glory of Almighty God. After reporting to work for one week, nobody (Infact the chief of staff) refused to assign a particular job to me, hence I officially informed you on the 20th of August 2013 and also listing jobs for me to execute in Special Duties department including requesting for official vehicle and imprest. I waited for 6 days to hear from you but there was no response.

On the 26th of August 2013, I officially wrote to the Chief of staff informing him that he was yet to assign jobs to me ( I specifically listed jobs I could execute as SSA Special Duties). I waited for 2 weeks and there was no response, so I had to meet you and you instructed me to begin to execute what I listed as my responsibilities as your SSA – Special Duties. Quickly, I developed a political module for you from part one to part four which I submitted to you. I am now on part 6. I have also explored into other areas which are even more intellectually anchored on political religiosity and manipulation. On the 18th of October 2013 and with your own mouth, you asked me to bring a car dealer who would supply a Toyota Camry 2006 model car to me. This I quickly did but you failed to fulfill your pledge. You shocked me with a shocking message to me on the 22nd of October 2013 saying: “SAMUELSON, I WAS TOLD THAT YOU ARE THE PERSON BEHIND NEGATIVE WRITE-UPS AGAINST ME. IF I FIND OUT THAT YOU ARE THE PERSON, I WILL DEAL WITH YOU!!”

It was at this point that my eyes opened and I truly discovered the kind of man I trusted and loved with my heart. It was at this point that I realized the kind of man I was packaging for higher leadership position. It was at this point I realized why you never traveled out of the Country with me on official functions (you only sent me pictures for me to make stories out of them).

It was at this point I realized why you took away my official vehicle in July 2013, didn’t pay me my July 2013 salary, removed my imprest since July 2013, allowed me to run the Special Duties department with my personal money. It was at this point that I discovered that the man I truly loved hated me. I shed tears.

Three days later I wrote a letter to you with the title ALLEGATION AGAINST ME: PART ONE which I exonerated myself from the allegation. I also copied Honourable members and the clerk. They came, met and discussed with you and you told them with your own mouth that you knew that I was being blackmailed by your other aides. They advised you to put your office in order.

On my own, I started watching you more closely and carefully. I then realized that you never really cared for me and that you only wanted to use my integrity, credibility, acceptability and popularity to establish yourself as a leader in Imo State. I remembered that you bought vehicles for all your senior aides except Citizen Samuelson. I remembered that you even paid house rents for some of your aides except Citizen Samuelson. I remembered that you assisted some of your aides to build their Houses except Citizen Samuelson. I remembered that whenever you returned from your oversea tours, you always bought gift items for your other aides except Citizen Samuelson. I remembered that I actually worked hard to contribute in making you the speaker of Imo State House of Assembly. (Please Google “Who is the next Speaker of Imo House of Assembly.) It was also published in many newspapers, Magazines and Many online Social Media. I have evidence. I remembered that I actually called you on phone on the 30th of April 2011 and told you to get ready to become the next Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly.

I remembered that I actually brought the materials that were used to stop Dr. Acho Ihim from emerging Speaker. Hon Acho Ihim would have emerged Speaker, but I stopped him. Till today Acho Ihim has not forgiven me for preventing him from emerging the Speaker. I remembered how I was visiting you in Room 607 at Imo Concorde Hotel throughout MAY 2011 to plan, plot and execute how to install you the Speaker. I remembered that I was only seeing your current SA on Domestic Matters in your hotel room. I was not seeing and did not see other Ihitte/Uboma people at that time. The simple truth is that I contributed effectively; played a major role in making you the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly. I stand to be challenged. But today the office of the Speaker has become Ihitte/Uboma Constituency Office.

So I became very, very angry with you for the first time and as a result, I dusted my file on Kodichi Anamekwe. So on the 7th of November 2013 I Citizen (Dr) Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha wrote a letter to you. Part of the content of the said letter was my report on the fraudulent and corrupt practices of your Chief of staff Mr. Kodichi Anamekwe. I also copied the clerk of the House and Honourable members.

Many people including Honourable members came and begged me to sheathe my sword against the Chief of Staff. But I simply told them that “my nature as a Socio-Political Crusader will not allow me keep quiet when things are continually going wrong in my environment. As a reservoir of information, I cannot betray the confidence I have in myself” unquote.

On the 13th of December 2013 (36 days later), the office of the Speaker issued me a query and I quickly responded by insisting that at least a 4-man panel/committee made up of only Honourable members should be set up and must invite me in the presence of Pressmen to prove my allegations. Full Stop.

Then intrigues followed and when I sensed danger, I quickly resigned. I equally made my resignation public. I have also informed the Executive Governor of Imo State including Security agencies and Anti corruption Agencies.

My life is now in danger. But I cannot because my life has been threatened recoil in my timidity. It is not possible because I am a child of God. I have never lost any battle in life.

I trusted you but you have betrayed me. He who SOWS injustice reaps calamity. If a man returns evil for good, evil will never depart from his house. Bread of deceit is sweet to the mouth, but afterwards, the same mouth will be filled with gravels and stones. So says the Bible. The truth is that I am not happy with you.

My God is not happy with you.

I do not have a gun but I have the gun, you and your Ihitte/Uboma brothers have given me the bullet to shoot. I will win this battle to the glory of Almighty God.
