A group of selfless and vibrant young Christians engaged in nourishing spiritual renewal, and highlighting Christian role models known as Heavenly Insight Media are planning a huge event to give recognition and respect, celebrate, and immortalise Christian faith heroes who have impacted and influenced lives greatly in this generation, country and beyond.

The group says it is celebrating 50 of them, including Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo, David Ibiyeomie, Chris Oyakhilome, Johnson Suleiman, Late Bimbo Odukoya among others whom God is using mightily to perform miracles, free the oppressed and captives and whose stock in commitment is spreading the gospel of God all over the world.

The event tagged: 'God Is In Nigeria' is geared towards showcasing these great men of God as worthy ambassadors of Christ to be emulated as role models.

“These great men/women are successful, rich, powerful, influential and philanthropic in nature, deeply committed to changing lives and spiritually endowed. They are God’s servants engaged in giving life a meaning and giving hope to millions all over the world. They perform miracles, demonstrating the power of God, confirming the words of Jesus; ‘In my name you will set the captives free, heal the sick, etc and ensure signs and wonders follow you’.”

Speaking to newsmen, Pastor Rufus Oba, the Founder of Heavenly Insight Media, said: “This has become necessary following the enormous sojourn by these great men/women in the Lord’s vineyard.

“We are moved to do this because these Christian giants have and are still contributing immensely to strengthening lives and development of this country in more ways than we could ever discern, they are effectively and fervently praying always for the peace of this country, they are building schools, giving out scholarships, feeding and housing the destitutes, less privileged, motherless babies, paying hospitals bills for accidents victims etc. In the midst of all these things that they are doing, even though we know God’s favour awaits them, nobody thought about celebrating them up until about now. Heavenly Insight Media is committed to giving honor to whom honour is due, especially knowing that they truly deserve it.

“We are already talking with a lot of these chosen ones who have given their consent, also praying for the epoch making event. There has never been a large gathering of these heavy weights in one function in the history of Christianity or any other religion in this country or anywhere else. This event will be held on the 25th of May 2017 in yet to be decided state or place but we are in touch with the Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Lagos and Rivers States authorities for final confirmation. Activities lined up will include some of Nigeria’s best gospel stars, comedians etc, dignitaries will be drawn from all walks of life.

“There are various materials in form of T-Shirts, Calendars, Exercise books for sale and to be given out to people free, this is our own way of evangelising, it’s time to speak up, even as we seek for partner to reach out to every home, office etc in Nigeria and beyond to make known to the world how God is using these great men/women” he concluded.

According to him, Heavenly Insight Media is also working on the book about these 50 great men/women, their lives, impact, influence, and how they started church among others.
