The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has charged the electorate and the entire citizens of the state to shun violence as well as maintain peace and order, before, during and after next Saturday’s Local Government and Local Council Development Area elections in the state.

Amosun, who led party faithful on a campaign tour of the three senatorial districts, gave this charge while addressing the crowd that came enmasse to receive the team.
While noting that the party’s representatives at the local government levels remain the most effective channel to reach and touch the lives of the people at the grassroots, he urged the electorate to troop out to exercise their rights at the polling centres.

The governor thanked the people of the state for their continued support and assured that his government would not relent in ensuring that dividends of democracy are extended to all the nooks and crannies of the state.
He promised that no unfinished project would be abandoned by the time he hands over in 2019.

Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga, Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraj Ishola Adekunbi, state Executive Council members and party supporters accompanied the governor on the tour round Abeokuta, Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, Ilaro,
Sango-Ota and Ifo.
