The Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State has announced the commencement of registration for the 2025 student bursary scheme for indigenes of the council studying in tertiary institutions across the country.

According to a circular issued by the Supervisor for Human Capital Development, Mrs. Misan Eke, the scheme approved by the council chairman, Isaac Agbateyiniro, is aimed at providing financial relief to deserving students of the local government origin enrolled in government-approved higher institutions.

To qualify, applicants are required to present the following documents: Warri South Local Government Certificate of Origin, school admission letter, and valid Wema Bank account details, as bursary payments will be made directly through Wema Bank.

The council noted that submission of applications will close on Friday, October 10.
