“The Herd”, a thrilling Nollywood drama, is set for Cinema release across Nigeria on Oct. 17.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that FilmOne, producers of the blockbuster, announced the release date in a post on its verified Instagram page @filmonestudios, alongside its trailer.

The post reads: “Every love story begins with joy… but where will this one lead? Here’s a glimpse behind the wedding scene in THE HERD captured under the vision of @etimeffiong in his directorial debut.

“The HERD coming to all cinemas nationwide Oct. 17.”

The Star-studded film is produced by Toritori Films and FilmOne Studios and directed by Etim Effiong,

The official brain twister teases a story where “the happiest day of your life… becomes the fight for your life,” hinting at a shocking twist that capsised a couple’s joy.
