Reports making the rounds in Imo State and beyond since Friday have raised concerns about the mental state of Governor Rochas Okorocha. His Spokesman Sam Onwuemeodo failed to clear the air when contacted this evening by News Express.

The reports have it that Governor Okorocha at some point yesterday started running round his office in the state capital Owerri, screaming repeatedly, “Who brought this woman here?” when there was obviously no woman in the his office.

“Take this woman out of my office! Who brought her here? What is this woman doing in my office?” Okorocha reportedly screamed according to a source close to his office.

The source quoted one of the aides attached to the Governor as telling him, “Your Excellency, there is no woman here. I cannot find any woman here.”

Okorocha’s Spokesman Sam Onwuemeodo lost his cool when contacted by News Express. The exchange, via sms, went thus:

News Express: “Greetings from News Express Publisher Isaac Umunna. Reports reaching us have it that Gov. Okorocha lost his senses yesterday in his office. We’d be glad to reflect your reaction in our story coming up this evening. Thanks.”

Sam Onwuemeodo’s response: “You are a devil. A disgrace to the journalism career. You are the one who has lost his senses and your father too. Fool.”

News Express: “Thank you. So I have done wrong by trying to get your reaction to a story sent to me?”

Sam Onwuemeodo: “You are a big fool.”

News Express: Thanks.
