The management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has cautioned newly admitted students against engaging in sex-for-grades, campus prostitution (hook-ups), cultism, examination malpractice, and other anti-social behaviours.

The university stated that it will not hesitate to sanction any student found engaging in these anti-social behaviours.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Sunday Elom made the statement over the weekend during the 13th matriculation ceremony of the institution.

A total of 5,357 students were matriculated during the event, comprising 3,107 females and 2,250 males.
